The question corporate buyers ask most when evaluating a uniform supplier is: "Have you served our industry?" It's the right question — workwear requirements vary enormously across sectors. Rather than a vague "yes, plenty", we are publishing the real numbers. As of August 2026, Hengtong's case archive holds 511 delivery records across 12 industries.

What the numbers say
Retail and manufacturing together account for 47.7% — no coincidence. Both feature large frontline teams and fine-grained role division: retail needs store-, supervisor-, and warehouse-specific sets; manufacturing needs fabric functionality matched to workshop roles. These orders stress roster-based packing and delivery capability the most, which is where our deepest experience sits.
Tech and education form the second tier: culture apparel and polo shirts with frequent seasonal top-ups on one side; school uniforms bound by academic calendars and strict batch-delivery and warranty requirements on the other.
Healthcare, finance, and transport are few but demanding. Hospitals require antibacterial fabric testing, banks audit factory credentials, transport clients follow industry-specific dress codes. Few cases because few suppliers pass such screening.
Three takeaways for buyers
Ask for delivery records and photos from your industry, not just totals. Industry leaders' requirements become the industry's de facto standard — our "pack by store, bag by size" standard from 138 retail cases applies to any multi-site business. And fold case verification into your factory audit scoring; suppliers with dense real cases typically show far lower dispute rates.
